This family tree representation is also contained in the book. The tree is designed as a way for readers to connect the names of characters mentioned in the book’s stories with family lineage and history.

Five generations are represented in this visual version. There are 88 names listed in these five generations. Many of the names listed here are mentioned in the book. The spouses of the fifth generation, the sixth and seventh generations and their spouses/partners and their children and grandchildren are not listed in this tree. That would add approximately 340 more names.

Specifically, the Division Street Offspring referenced in the book result from the marriages of my father William O’Connor, my mother Marion Ciraulo, Uncle Lawrence O’Connor and Aunt Mildred Kruzan. Including their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their spouses and great-great grandchildren, the offspring total approximately 130 individuals. Our families continue to grow exponentially.

From the earliest first generation birthdate of 1840 through births likely to happen in 2023, the extended families included in this tree represent 183 years of history.
